Since 1974, "Craftsmen in the world", non-profit organization of international solidarity run by nearly 2000 volonteers, has equitably marketed craft tradition products, textile and food, from small producers from Latin America, Asia or Africa.

The products are always bought at a fair price to the third world cooperatives, which guarantees decent working and pay conditions to the producers 
In order that craftsmen, farmers, might live from their work with dignity and succeed in their local plans of development, as regards a children literacy plan, the installation of an irrigation system or the repayment of the members of the cooperative's debt.

Wooden toys from India, Tuaregs from Agades 's baskets, silver and lapis lazuli jewelry from Chile, skirts from Thailand, t-shirt from Zimbabwe, trouses from Guatemala, organic coffee from mexico, teas from Tanzania, sugar from the Philippines...  Undreamed of treasures, brought back from all the parts of the planet, for all the consumers anxious to reconcile shopping with solidarity.

An association of volonteers

To expand such an initiative, "Craftsmen in the world" needs volonteers anxious to get involved in the promotion of fair trade. You are interested in sales, accountancy, fixing things, communication, information... Most probably an activity might be suitable for you to make the fair North-South trade live.
