The "Médiathèque" is a vast Library who proposes, on more than 2000 m², some collections of documents on different supports: books, magazines, CD, audiocassettes and videocassettes, CD Rom, as well as the access to some networks telematics.

         These documents is distributed in 3 big departments: space Adults, space Youth, space Musics, completed by a room of survey, a small auditorium, a "attic to histories" and the very original room of heritage who will put former and contemporary in value of the books, unusual, "singular".

         The "Médiathèque" is the modern heiress of the Municipal Library, (installed chapel of Big convent in the old city, who counted more than 4200 registered persons and had lent nothing that per 1996 more than 100,000 documents). The contribution of the new supports, the space and the comfort, permits to the Médiathèque of filling his role of space cultural necessary and of radiating well beyond some limits of the township. Close to 40,000 documents is proposed already " in free access" to the users.

         The Media library is useful, place of daily use in order to reach in all simplicity to the information, to the documentation, and also daily place in order to cultivate, discover the world who surrounds us, better understand it, advance in the life.
